Truth in Love Thief In the Night
A Thief in the Night
Author: Jim Elliff

A friend of mine slept through a robbery in his own home.
His wife wasn’t so comatose. In fact, when the man entered their
bedroom, she immediately began chasing him down the hall. With this lady
on his tail, he didn’t steal much but trouble. Meanwhile, back in the
sack, my friend snored away, totally oblivious to the whole ordeal.
The day of the Lord will also come like a thief in the night. Are you ready?
Now brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to
you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a
thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety,"
destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant
woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thess. 5:1-3)
Notice the word--suddenly!
He will come while people are... (more)

Daily Devotion Praying To The Living God
Date: Sunday, August 02, 2015
Chapters: Jeremiah 35-38
Message Title: Praying To The Living God
Hello My Friend,
Prayer, it's our direct line to communicate with God, sometimes prayers are answered in an instant, while other times it takes years for them to be answered. Sometimes we get exactly what we want, while other times it is completely the opposite. We may not always understand the way God answers prayer, but we can understand that God knows what He is doing and he always answers us. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” - 1 John 5:14,15.
See the key phrase here, “if we ask any thing according to his will”, many times God does not give us things because it is simply not in His will for us, at least at the time. God always has a reason for delaying or even denying our requests,... (more)
Argh Not The Pony Feeling myself
I've actually had quite a busy week this week
On Monday I went round to Abi's because she was having like a barbecue thing, it was me, her, Rachel, Laura, Abby and Anna (and JP...ugh) at first and we had food and some drinks and migrated from her kitchen to garden to back because the weather this summer really just isn't happening for us, and it was really fun especially considering I haven't seen Anna or Laura for ages, it was really cute and nice :-) then when Laura left Kim arrived and stayed for a while and we watched some old music videos on Youtube and then when Kim left we watched videos of Ainsley Harriott (we share a birthday, very important) and it was chill n ting
On Tuesday I saw Sebastian but god knows in what context, I think he just came to the house tbh and we chilled as far as I can remember, sat in the garden a bit in the evening oh yeah we made pasta - doesn't sound like a culinary feat really - and it was nice, and on Wednesday we went up to Mile End because on...
